Liberty Specialty Vehicles is a newly formed company based out of Steinbach Manitoba. We may be a “new company”, but we are not new to this industry and have been serving our clients with solutions to their needs for over a decade. Before starting this company, Larry Schmidt spent the last 12+ years building long-standing relationships and serving indigenous communities, private contractors, fleet companies and school divisions across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as Managing Partner of Steinbach Bus Sales. In late 2023, he and his partner sold their interests in Steinbach Bus. Larry decided to focus primarily on a specific segment of the specialty vehicle industry, medium-duty trucks.
Larry’s son Brayden has joined the company focusing on sales but also does whatever has to get done. He has worked in the automotive business for 9 years in various capacities from light technical work to service and parts advisor to sales.
